A power of attorney is a legal instrument authorizing one person to act as another's agent or attorney-in-fact.

In Idaho

In Idaho, a spouse may grant the other an express power of attorney to sell, convey, or encumber community property, which is otherwise an act both spouses must join in (Idaho Code § 32-912).
