A deed is a written document by which title to real estate is conveyed from one party to another.
In Idaho
In Idaho, a deed is recorded with the recorder in the county where the property is located, which gives the public notice of the transfer (Idaho Code § 55-808). For community real estate, both spouses generally sign (Idaho Code § 32-912).
